El Gato Diablo

Welcome to the internet screening of ‘El Gato Diablo
I want to say thanks to all the people who helped make this film possible. This film was the final project for my Basic Film/Video Production (F/TV 20) Class I took at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA. in the Fall 2006 Quarter. It has received 2nd place winner in the PDI/Dreamworks (Redwood City, CA) Lo-Tech Cinema Trials for 2007. Hope you enjoy it and please send me any feedback or comments. Also, check out this page for behind the scenes material.

Production notes: The camera used on this film was a consumer 3-chip camera. It was a Panasonic GS-160. Also, there was a special rig made to hold an animorphic lens in front of the camera lens. This allowed me to shoot in cinemascope, or 2.66 aspect ratio.
